I have been working in graphics and motion graphics since the early 1990s, beginning my career in small production companies where roles were far less specialised. This provided a strong foundation across all areas of digital production, including 2D and 3D graphics, animation, and multimedia design. From the outset, I developed a broad and adaptable skill set by producing visual content for a wide range of multimedia and video projects.
Over the years, I have worked on corporate media, promotional materials, educational content, and complex animations, often taking projects from concept through to final delivery. My work requires a high level of creativity, problem-solving, and the ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments. I regularly collaborate with stakeholders to translate ideas into clear, engaging visual outputs, balancing technical precision with strong visual communication.
In my current role at the Royal Veterinary College, I apply these skills across a wide range of projects, creating graphics for digital learning materials, video production, live events, and institutional communications. I work extensively with Adobe Creative Cloud and keep my skills current by using beta software and engaging in ongoing professional development, ensuring I can deliver effective and up-to-date visual solutions.
My experience in graphic design is complemented by my work in digital learning, live video production, and podcasting, allowing me to take a joined-up approach to multimedia projects. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I focus on producing high-quality visuals that communicate ideas clearly, support learning, and engage audiences.
