I have been working in graphics and motion graphics since the early 1990s, starting my career in small production companies where roles were far less specialised than they are today. This gave me a unique opportunity to develop a broad grounding in all areas of digital production, from 2D and 3D graphics to animation and multimedia design. During this time, I was responsible for producing a wide range of graphics for multimedia and video projects, which helped me build a strong and adaptable skill set.
Over the years, I have worked on everything from corporate videos and promotional materials to complex animations and interactive multimedia. My role has always required a high level of creativity, problem-solving, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. I’ve led projects from conception to completion, collaborating with clients to turn their ideas into compelling visual content. My ability to balance technical precision with artistic vision has been key to producing high-quality graphics that meet project goals and client expectations.
In my current role at the Royal Veterinary College, I continue to apply these skills across a diverse range of projects. I create graphics for educational materials, video content, live events, and marketing campaigns. Working with the Adobe Creative Suite, I stay up-to-date with the latest software advancements by running beta versions and attending training webinars. This continuous professional development ensures I remain at the forefront of the industry, capable of delivering innovative and effective visual solutions.
My long-standing experience in graphic design is complemented by my expertise in digital learning, live video production, and podcasting, making me a versatile and resourceful multimedia professional. Whether working independently or as part of a team, my goal is always to produce high-impact visuals that communicate ideas effectively and engage audiences.
